Enhancement of cooking cost under MDM
The Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad, in his
letter 3rd read above, has requested the Government to issue orders for
enhancement of cooking cost under National Program of Mid Day Meal
Scheme for Primary schools from Rs.4.35/- to Rs.4.48/- (excluding egg cost)
and for Upper Primary schools from Rs. 6.51/- to Rs. 6.71/- (excluding egg
cost) and for Classes IX & X from Rs.6.51/- to Rs.6.71/- on par with Upper
Primary sections + Rs.2/- (Cost of egg per day) i.e., Rs.8.71/- w.e.f.
