In an effort to strengthen the quality of education and teacher development, the Director of School Education and State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Telangana has issued clear guidelines for the School Complex Meetings for the academic year 2025–26. These meetings are a critical part of the Academic Calendar 2025–26, referenced in Proc.Rc.No.100/Genl/2025.

  1. Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
    • Teachers engage in monthly academic planning, peer learning, and teaching strategy discussions.
  2. Resource Sharing and Collaboration
    • Enables exchange of best practices and utilization of shared resources across schools.

πŸ‘₯ Who Should Attend?

Primary School Complexes (Classes I-V):

  • All Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) teaching Classes I–V.

  • Attendance split: 50% on Day 1 and 50% on Day 2 to avoid academic disruption.

  • Meetings conducted by Primary Complex Resource Persons under CHM supervision.

Subject Complexes (Classes VI-X):

  • All School Assistants (SAs) and Language Pandits (LPs).

  • Day 1: Language Teachers | Day 2: Non-Language Teachers.

  • Sessions facilitated by Subject Complex Resource Persons.

🏒 District Education Officers (DEOs)

  • Ensure timely and quality conduct of meetings.

  • Review outcomes monthly and share best practices with SCERT.

πŸ“ Mandal Education Officers (MEOs)

  • Visit and observe at least 2 meetings per month.

  • Support CHMs and provide input during reviews.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ« Complex Headmasters (CHMs)

  • Ensure 100% teacher attendance.

  • Submit Minutes of Meeting via the Mobile App.

  • Maintain class-size of max 40 for effective interaction.

  • Must bring data on student performance.

  • Perform demo classes, book reviews, and TLM prep.

  • Ensure full-day participation and active engagement.

  • Post-meeting feedback collected via Google Forms.

  • Meetings must be localized to teacher needs and aligned with monthly agendas.


⚠️ Importance of Effective Meetings

As per SCERT’s FLN Assessment 2024–25, students taught by teachers who regularly attended structured complex meetings showed a 2.95x improvement in learning outcomes. This highlights the vital need for active participation in every meeting.
